He's probably just acting up because he's got an audience and dosen't want his brother to think he's all loved up and is the one who wears the trousers in the relationship!
He if carries on treat him the same way when your with your friends and see how he likes it!

i just wouldn't take it. i'd say if there is a problem with your brother and you, then yell at him. i don't know if you realize it or not, but when he's around, you are a different person. i don't let anyone speak to me in the tones you use when he is there. i don't know why you do it and i hope you can tell me, because it has to stop - i like myself too much to put up with needless abuse. he could be showing off, but, that is not showing respect for someone he cares about.

yes, sounds like he is just showing off but that doesn't mean you have to put up with it. after two years together he should have a lot more respect for you. Have a word with him and let him know how it makes you feel when he talks like that. If he doesn't stop then its time to let him go

well if he only acts like this in front of his brother then he is probably trying to let it be known who wears the trousers in the relationship, I would suggest you speak to him about this and if he doesn't change his attitude then either put the phone down on him or walk out of room until he learns his lesson, no woman should be treated like that

Tell him to knock it off or you will leave. Do not let him disrespect you like that. You deserve to be treated well all of the time. If he can't do that, you should find you someone that will. Showing off is immature and foolish.

Maybe, or he isn't honest with his family about you. Perhaps they think he shouldn't be with you, so he sort of plays along. I had his happen to me with the separated boyfriend (my ans to your other question). You don't know what they're saying when you're not there.

I think it sounds like he is trying to be hard in front of his brother...there is no need for him to treat you like that and put you down like that as this will lower your confidence.. If he can do it infront of family who else can he put you down in front of?? Work mates, friends, strangers??

i dont care if he was showing off or not but you should tell him if he keeps talking to you like that ,he will have no girlfriend in you to show off with . Put your foot down girl . good luck .
