Heah mormons, if you want to study your own faith, you have to read about it from a non-biased point of view. Like the planet Kolob. Aliens/ascended beings mating with humans. Come on, folks, is this for real??

If it is a specific question about a certain doctrine or belief of the church, I try to provide a specific site as an answer, that is on lds.org. If it is a generic question like "What do Mormons believe?" Then I just point thme to lds.org. Either way I try to answer the question as best as I can in my own words as well.

And you can't tell anyone how to study their own faith. That is kinda silly. How to study the history, maybe, but not faith.

Yeah you're right, and maybe while we are at it, we should ask some Nazi's about the Jews and trust what they say... give me a break. Non-biased sites? And what would those be?
I like to go to the source for facts.

I don't get upset when questioned, questioning leads to answers. What bothers me is a non-mormon can ask a question, the mormon will give an answer and the non-mormon thinks "oh that's not what you really believe" or "that's not what I heard"... how silly is that? You can get an answer directly from the source but because you don't agree with the answer you get, suddenly we aren't being honest in our answers!
Whatever...
And where in the world did you come up with the alien theory? Just another example of people making crap up to spread about the church...

It has been my experience that everybody gets upset when we question their beliefs--Mormon, Seventh Day Advent, Jehovah witnesses, Charismatics, Baptists, Buddhists, Shintos, Muslims, Wiccans and even the atheists (I used that word because MOST people know it means someone who does not believe in a deity.)

It is not a phenomena it is just human.

But don't get upset if I call you a butterfly. If you would just realize you are a butterfly and not a human being. If I say you are a butterfly, you must be non-biased and look at it from my standpoint. You can think you are a human being, but I say you are a butterfly and we should be able to talk about it without you getting upset. Afterall, I'm just trying to help you realize who you are.

Oh, yes, of course, people who hate our faith are the best experts at what we believe.

That's rich.

Why not ask the Nazi's or Muslims about what Jews believe. Why not ask witches or druids about what Christians believe.

I testify to you that I am the world's foremost authority on what *I* believe. And THE LDS CHURCH is the foremost authority on what THE LDS CHURCH believes.

i think you answered your own question with the complete and utter nonsense you just posted. Of course its not for real. You just made half of it up.

No one is going to take you seriously if you arent going to be sincere in your questioning.

You are also wrong about us being upset. We arent upset that you question but that you are blindly taking the word of liars over the people who actually know what they are talking about. You see we feel sorry for you.

Probably the same reason anybody doesnt like to have their beliefs questioned.

People also dont get upset if you do it in a non-confrontational way.

"Fantastic doctrines require unanimity of belief. One dissenter casts doubt on the creed of millions. Thus the fear and the hate; thus the torture chamber, the iron stake, the gallows, the labor camp, the psychiatric ward." — Edward Abbey.

We are just pointing out your inaccuracies -- please don't make me laugh -- non-biased POV -- you have got to be kidding -- those website you get info from are riddled with bias and sometime down-right hatred.

LDS.org is official information biased from the official POV.
