Sometimes I get nervous for no reason resulting in me getting a really bad stomach ache and then needing the toilet. I've finally found out it's not food, it's emotion that triggers it off however I find if I relax the pain will go. However, my stomach goes into a defense, worry kind of position which causes the pain to come back...

When im distracted and forget about the pain, it goes but its hard because the pain is strong, it's hard to forget.

What can I do?

Thanks alot in advance

Ive seen the doctor, and he confirmed I may have IBS and gave me sachets with fibre in that i mix in drinks to help my stomach. That just helps go to the toilet.

I wouldn't need the toilet if I could control the pain. I need to be distracted by it or be calm.

Are breathing exercises good?

This could be related to Irritable Bowel Syndrome (which can be triggered by stress for some people) but I would recommend seeing your doctor for further evaluation to see what they think is going on.
