If your daughter isn't drinking her usual amount, is having less wet nappies than usual or if you are concerned about her condition then take your daughter to an emergency department.
Here is a link to the Royal Children's Hospital fact sheet on gastro which provides sensible advice...
http://www.rch.org.au/kidsinfo/factsheets.cfm?doc_id=5353
As for sore bottoms - my boys get these a lot due to major bowel surgery at birth and the best thing is frequent changes of nappies, warm facewashers to clean the skin and use a thick barrier cream with a zinc base.
I hope your little girl feels better soon,
Hugs,

I hope you're off the computer by now and at the ER, but if not, time to go! Sounds like she's very dehydrated and it could be very dangerous. (And if your doctor won't fit you in for an appointment when you describe your daughter as pale and lifeless, you need to switch doctors as soon as you get back from the hospital). Good luck.

Don't ring, go to the doctors right now and insist they see your daughter, she may be dehydrated and need to go to hospital. Cream will not stop diarrhoea amd the soreness is a minor issue compared with getting dehydrated. Either this is an awful doctor or the receptionist misunderstood what you were saying (maybe she missed the diarrhoea bit and thought it ws just the soreness).
Take with you something she will drink - just this once, completely ignore where you are on giving up bottles/formula, no sweetened drinks etc. Give her something nice and sweet in her favourite baby bottle or cup. You need to get fluid in her right now.

The majority opinion on here is to get her seen whether docs like it or not. i completely agree.
my son had exactly the same symptoms when he was 1, turned out to be gastric interitis. since he was too little to give him anything i had to not let him eat for 24 hours, just let him fill himself on fluids. if it is gastric and your still feeding your child this will make it worse, giving them food feeds the virus. it was a horrible thing to do but it worked, the next day i started him on eating a little toast which gave a runny nappy but at least it was only a little and it was the last bad nappy. he was fine after that, slowly throughout the day you could see he was getting better.
i still say get to the doc as soon as possible, nobody on here is a doc at the end of the day. good luck.x

you need to take her to the emergency room. this is no longer an option.
from how you described her, your little one sounds dehydrated which can make her severely ill very quickly. she more than likely needs i.v fluids to restore her electrolyte balance and maintain her fluid levels.
being that you say she is pale, lifeless, and won't let you put her down is a grave concern. she needs to be seen at once.
if you're worried about driving her on your own-please call 911 and have the paramedics come take a look at her (they can transport her to the emergency room).
please take my advice-i'm a mother of 3 and i've worked in trauma icu for the past 7 years.

Even tho it has already been mentioned, I cannot help but say it again as others have...get medical attention immediately. Hydration in babies is very delicate and they can quickly become very sick from not enough fluids. PLEASE get medical help NOW, if you have time to be on Yahoo Answers, then you have time to be driving to the closest Children's hospital in your area, or any other emergency department. Like it has been mentioned, if you are not able to put your child down and don't feel comfortable driving while in this situation, ring your country's emergency number and ask for their help with an Ambulance. NOW, please...

Go there and sit, or GO to the Hospital.
TODAY, NOW.
Children can't have diarrhea for a
long time like that, because they
get dehydrated.
Only one, or two days with it, that's it.
Ask the Dr. about using A and E ointment
back there, or
Hemorrhoid cream.

Take her somewhere else where they take walk ins or you should take her to the ER. 1 week is too long. IT does not sound good at all. Get off the computer and go now.

Could be the Rota+ virus. My daughter had it a month ago. It's critical to keep her well hydrated and consult your doctor ASAP...
If you can afford it, take a soiled nappy to the nearest lab,so they can test it for you.
Hope she gets well soon!

Take her to the emergency room or the urgent care asap. They need the water that they're losing by pooping. I really urge you to take her in now! It worries me to hear that she was pale and lifeless... Has she had a fever?? Vomiting?? No forget I asked!!!!!!!!!! Take her and one of her diapers to the dr now!!!!!!!!!
