I know exactly what you mean by head tremors, and I know that it's terribly debilitating. I thought I was the only one to ever experience that, so feel assured that you're not alone in the world. I used to get head tremors when I was in the supermarket queue, when I had to sit in the doctor's office, when I was talking to friends who I'd known for years. I couldn't share a coffee with anyone because my head would shake as soon as I lifted the cup.

In my case, it was from extreme anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. I wanted to see a doctor but felt too anxious to do so because of the head tremours and feeling of being totally uneasy. I started walking. Just around the block. Nothing more than that. Then I started going a little bit further.

The one medication I found helpful was a drug prescribed to me by the doctor for attending court during a bitter custody battle. It's a beta-blocker drug (Betaloc) which is used by actors to stop stage-fright and I used it in great moderation to condition my mind to stay calm in situations which would normally cause me great anxiety.

Walking helped me enormously.

I know how you feel and I truly hope I've been supportive and helpful. Please email me if ever you need some more support to get through this.

If you only get these tremore when you are in public it sounds like a nervous thing rather than physical.
This is not a reason to kill yourself. If you are depressed to the point of suicide you need to talk to your doctor for medication to help to lift your mood and help with the anxiety.

No. My doctor has head tremors and he still practices medicine.
As a next step how about getting couselling as you must have some issues. There are helping agencies, medicine, health professionals and welfare. It's not the end of the world.

I go through the same thing. However mine is not just in public. (I suffer from Chronic Generalized anxiety disorder, chronic depression and PTSD)
My Dr told me it was akin to a nervous tick and was ok but if it got worse to let him know.

Nothing in life is EVER worth taking your life over.
Although this is frustrating and sometimes embarrassing it is not something so hopeless that you need to feel this way.

See a doctor. There's got to be a healthier and more effective treatment than killing yourself. That's not a good solution to any problem.

See social phobia, and anxiety treatments, at http://www.ezy-build.net. (.net.nz/~shaneris) on pages 9, and 6: try the EFT version for use in public, on page 2, and consider hypnotherapy.
