He was trying to teach the government a lesson. He killed government employees in reaction to Waco, Texas. He had no connection to the religious group that died there. I suppose he thought by killing some he would save more in the long run. A few years later a similiar situation happened and the government backed down.

Timothy McVeigh was a cold hearted murderer! But, I heard on the news the night he was put to death, that he asked forgiveness for his sins. And as I understand the Bible, if you truly repent of you sins and ask forgiveness, you will be forgiven this sin. The only unpardonable sin is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit ....

It doesn't matter. As far as making enemies for itself, the US Gov't doesn't discriminate. Remember, the more enemies our government can make for us the better it is for business for the corporations who contribute generously to the Republican AND Democrat National Committees but --WORST OF ALL-- the more of our rights and privacy we lose in the guise of making us safer.

``God bless America?'' What the phuque? Who could ACTUALLY believe the Almighty would bless an evil and UNHOLY union of fully-militarized, quasi-totalitarian POLICE STATES?

He was an extremist and I believe mentally ill. Anyone who could misconstrue the Word of God and KILL, which is explicitly forbidden in the Bible is NOT of God. "On judgment day many will tell me, 'Lord, Lord, we prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.'But I will reply, 'I never knew you. Go away; the tings you did were unauthorized." *or unlawful

Just because someone says they are doing something in the name of God, or Allah, or Jehovah...(whomever you call God) does not mean they are acting on HIS authority.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

He was NOT a Christian. He may have CALLED himself one, but anyone with sense knows that he was not truly a Christian. Look at the immoral things that he did.

Yes, but what does that mean one way or the other? He used his beliefs to do others grave harm. A fanatic is a fanatic, no matter what ideology he holds precious.
