I don't know if you're for real or not but....think about the pain your family will go through. you won't only be hurting yourself but them as well.

All the cliches about thinking of your family are pointless. It only makes depressed people feel more depressed and alienated from their family. It is like telling someone drowning to swim faster. What good is that?
Anyway, you need to talk to professional. I know all that talking to a professional stuff sounds like a bunch of crap but it does work. I won't lie to you and say it was a magical experience for me that fixed me up in a jiffy.
If you are feeling too down and out to make arrangements with a doctor, ask your parents or brother to do it for you. I had to have someone do it for me until I felt well enough to handle all the arrangements. Think of what you have as a disease and work at getting better. Depression is a really formidable challenge, find someone that can share the burden with you.

Not sure how old you are, but your icon makes this sound like a sick joke and part of me hopes it is. If you are serious what are you asking here - for permission? Suicide is not the answer - you are not the one who suffers - your friends and family suffer for the rest of their lives, perhaps even blame themselves - call a hot line - lifeline - call a good friend - you can do it just pickup the phone and call someone. Then when the sun rises in the morning call your doctor and get help. One last thought, what if you fail? What if you end up just being a vegetable - your mind sharp as a tack caught in a "dead" body?

Killing yourself is not the option. Life is a blessing that you should take. Life always has its up and downs but don't give up on it when the bad turns to worse. You never know if one day your life is going to be really good and your going to miss out on that opportunity. Make an appointment to see a counsellor, psychologist etc and also talk to someone you can trust. I believe that you can make it through this hard time and one day appreciate that you didn't end up killing yourself. Also think of how many people would miss you and suffer. Life is shorter than death but harder because it has so much obstacles facing our way. Death is for eternity, you are given life because it gives you something to cherish, experience the bad and good and appreciate. If you are going to take the easy way out and end your life, please don't do it, its not worth it, death is forever, life is to cherish.

seems to me that there are a lot of things going on with you right now and maybe...if you take it one day after another...something will happen to change your mind...don't be so set on leaving that you don't see what is in your life...i know how you feel and have felt that myself...planned it...several times...just be open to the one thing that may keep you here another day...working through it seems to be the hard road...but i can honestly say i'm glad i didn't miss some of the things that have happened since...not that i don't still think about it...and plan it...i just also let the good things come through and delay the event...i wish you peace...either way

How are you planning to get there? Isn't sort of up to God to decide when you depart this vale of tears? Or are you planning something drastic?
If suicide is what you are planning consider what you are doing to your dad and mom and brother. You'll devastate them.
Give this some thought. Life has its ups and downs, but I'll stick around as long as I can and go when God wants me to go. Not before.
If you want to discuss this more, feel free to e-mail me through my profile.

WHUT? And miss the laughs that are awaiting you around the next bend in life?
And if you're going to see your mom, dad and brother, why? Do you care about them? Why hurt them by offing yourself?
Suicide is irrevocable.

You are sick to be putting this on statement on Yahoo answers.
people who really want to die just go and do it.
You are either sick emotionally and this is a cry for help and you need to talk to someone who can help you through whatever you are going through.
Or you are just sick - to think it clever or funny to paste this sort of thing on a public site.

If you do that, you're going to miss season 2 of Heroes and the premier of Bionic Woman on NBC.

dont do it!!!!
theres no point! cuz u know wat happens when u die?? u dont go to heaven, ur not reincarnated, u dont go anywhere better! u stay on earth!
ur body dies, but ur energy (ghost to most people) will still linger on, u will still be on earth.... roaming around and not being able to do anything! at least as a live human u can do stuff, and people can see u.
so killing urself would be the stupidest thing u could ever do! and u WILL regret it!
