After you get an automotive engineer to design and build a system specifically for your car, and have it custom installed... MORE THAN THE CAR IS WORTH!

Don't mess with safety equipment if you don't know what you're doing! You could end up making the situation worse rather than better.

If you want a car with side air bags, then buy one with them already installed.
