My vet has told me before if they did the deed and got locked (once) its a 50/50 chance, jumps up to 75 if twice and almost guarateed 100 precent chance of pregnancy if mated 3 + times.....
Ofcourse its less if it is her first ever heat or if she is 7+ years old.
There is such a thing as a dog abortion which can be taken up to 40 days after they mated, Alzien or something its called- If you fear she is pregnant and dont wont her to have the puppies.
Lot of mixed breed do turn out ok and are cute with well temperament, but also alot of 'muts'
If you think something is wrong, maybe she is acting differently because she is pregnant- Often dogs know what is going on and try to eat much more, settle down and act differently but if you mean something wrong physically like her health you should really visit your vet....

Maybe she is being over bred ?? Maybe the puppies are going to be too big for her to whelp on her own? How far along is she?
I don't know what the percentage is, but a lot of dogs have problems whelping litters on their own. Especially if they are small dogs. It's always best to see the vet and have him check them out to make sure that things are going along okay, and he can give you a good idea if you will need to have her in for a c-section.. It's always good to know when they are due so that you can give your vet the heads up that you might need him and make sure you are able to get hold of him.

If you are seeing something that makes you feel like things aren't going well, you really should take her in to see the vet.. You really are risking her life by allowing her to get pregnant over and over again. People can talk all they want about nature and in the wild and everything else.. Dogs are NOT wolves, they are domesticated pets. If they are not given proper vet care, and if they are not watched and helped when they whelp their litter, they can easily run into trouble and need the vet.

You should spay your female if she is going to keep getting pregnant.. I have to think that you must love her??? But have a hard time believing that when you keep allowing her to become pregnant by dogs of other breeds, producing puppies that are mixed breed, and for no other reason than she wasn't spayed, you want to make a few bucks and maybe like to play with puppies.. If you love your dog you would do the responsible thing and have her spayed now..

the effect is that your adding to an already huge population of unwanted pets. Not that you care, obviously since she's been pregnant before. You do realize that more than half of this litter will be put to sleep in a shelter right? If they and the mother live. Chances of complications go up with each pregnancy. The only advice i can give you is to take her into the vet and have her spayed. Along with your jack russel. Welcome to the club of irresponsible jerks who let their dogs endlessly have puppies because they're too lazy and irresponsible to get their dogs neutered or spayed.

Should a pregnancy continue its course, the effect would be a litter of Minnie Jacks, according to the American Canine Hybrid Club.

However, observing "something is wrong physically," is a very vague statement and I'm not exactly sure what your question actually is.

The effect -- your dog is preggers -- and possibily can die from the the outcome

Why haven't you had both your pets fixed -it's much healthier for them BOTH -- and you'd be seen as a responsable pet owner by all that meet you online & in person !

You SHOULD NOT breed your dogs - there are millions ( yes cute oneslike your pets & their past off spring) litterally being put to sleep monthly all over the world as there is a dog over population -

think of of all the money you'd save from not going to the vet like you have to now due to your females complications - if this didn't occur --probably could have paid to get both your pets altered. Please be responsable human and kind to your pets - do the right thing - get your pets altered

Do you mean they mated? were tied?

Effects could be that if she's not spayed, she may well be pregnant!

If you've noticed anything different about your b i t c h, physically or otherwise then you best course of action is to take her to the vet.

the effect is a litter of mutt puppies.

If you suspect something is wrong.. she needs to see a vet.

Please spay and neuter your pets, there are plenty of Mini Pins, Min Pin mixes, JRTS, and JRT mixes in need of homes.. no need to make more!
