looking for the name of the rod that goes from the lower control arm to the frame. 2x 15 mil bolts and a threaded rod with bushings... thanks

The track rod has bushings connects at front frame below the core support and connects to lower control arm with two 17mm nuts. Front bushings take tension and compression from braking forces. Bushings are replaceable. Nissan calls the lower arm a transverse link the ball joint and inner bushing are not replaceable.

Almosts sounds like a torsion bar. you can pick up a chilton or haynes repair manual from any autoparts store. cost is around 25 bucks.
