How do you make surgical Spirit?

Ethanol is denatured and rendered toxic by adding one of the toxic substances to make it denatured or surgical spirit. Each country has its own legislation
In US it`s made by mixing 10%methanol and an aniline dye.
In UK it`s made by mixing ethanol and one of the following
1)wood naptha
2)pyridine
3)petrpleum oil and
methyl violet as dye.
Dye is added to avoid accidental consumption
