And was it 5 or 6 missing nukes? Nobody seems to know...
How difficult is it to count to 6? Is it then possible that 5 were taken off the plane, but 6 are missing from the origin? Wouldn't that mean 1 is missing? I don't care if they claim to have found all of them, you don't make a mistake counting up to 6.

After being a operating room specialist in the army, I dont see how this possibly couldve happened by mistake.
In a operating room, one of your biggest priorities is what is called a "needle-count." self-explanatory, a protocol used to make sure no needles are accidentally sewed up inside of a person to cause an infection. For the entire time I was in the military we never lost a single needle, and there mustve been thousands of surgeries and thousands more needles.
Now, theyre trying to say that they aren't capable of performing the same routine with nuclear weapons? Im sure that there is at least one, and probly multiple, officers supervising every move each nuke makes. Its not as if "gomer pyle" can go up to the nuke window at the base and check out one for the weekend.
This administration has made me so paranoid, but I think I'd really be crazy if I weren't.. can't wait til Jan 09.

How ?
Most likely the paperwork that tracked what agm-86B's had warheads installed, got messed up.
And the paperwork didn't show any war heads installed in those missiles.
As to your other points.
All AGM-86B cruise missiles are in the process of being decommissioned. They are being replaced with AGM-129's.
AGM-86B's are the nuclear version of cruise missiles.
AGM-86C's are the conventional versions of cruise missiles.
They are replacing the AGM-86b's with the more advanced AGM-129 cruise missile.
As to flying to Barksdale AFB.
Barksdale AFB is home of the 2nd Bomb Wing.
It has it's own AGM-86B's and warheads.
So what purpose would there be to secretly fly warheads to the base, from another Bomber Wing ?

I was in the National Guard(Army) and nothing is surprising. In every branch of the military you will have Gomer Pyle's, Forrest Gumps, Sad Sacks, and even Homer Simpsons. If they are combined with assumption and poor supervision then these comical errors will occur.

Funny how people like to change the subject to criticize politicians.
"Accidents" such as these are usually cover stories... or who knows? Maybe a mix-up in paperwork led to the wrong kind of bomb being loaded.

They DON'T. They accidentally FORGOT to take them off. Don't let the Military fool you. They're pulling the SAME trick with the Iraq Hearings this week... How they're going to "reduce" troop strength in Iraq next Spring ...(AFTER they just finished INCREASING it by 30,000 in July). How Stupid do they think we are? :0

You don't. That's why everyone involved in that was relieved or grounded.
