I support the war and its aims.. I get cross when negative comments and silly comments are voiced demeaning the two leaders who took the view that Iraq and Saddam Hussein posed a very real threat to the peace and stability of the entire Arabian gulf region..
Removing Saddam from power has altered the power dynamic of the region leaving Iran to pose an even bigger threat in the future that will have to be dealt with by the west!.

I support our troops.
They get ordered to go, they do our political masters bidding and they get injured/ killed/ murdered/ survive for it!
Blair and Bush are following the spin doctors advice and whims - they have no real power as a person. They are just the fall guys for any flak / fall out from the sh*t. Do you really believe Blair has the brains to organise and control anything... ?

I only wish someone whould have the bottle to use nukes.
As for everyone ranting on , Don't forget it's everyone's wish to have a war , all the killing that goes on , just shows how sick these people are , I think everyone whould prefer to have a world completly at peace, but we live in the real world and sometimes matters have to be delt with

I get angry when politicians who agreed with the war then back peddle and state they didn't agree. Its about time we had a review of parliament and those that sit in there.....They made the decision to support the invasion and its our lads that were instructed to mobilise.....Now their there I whole heatedly support our lads but it is about time seniors started questioning the knowledge and authority of these decisions. More cuts in funding for the services and all I can say is thank god my son is out in November he has done his bit and you will find a lot of long service soldiers and the officers are leaving in droves can we blame them with this charade.......So if these well informed politicians would stop the lies and tell it like it is they may be better thought of in the future........If a company performed in this way they would be jumped on for miss management......

Frustrated, no.
Amused, yes. While there seem to be more armchair generals around then actual people who are willing to pick up a rifle and helmet join the fight. They would rather complain how wrong the effort is and how terrible the leadership is.

I don't despise an opposing voice for if everyone believed as I did, there would be no need for me to defend my point of view and I would be far less sure of where I stand and more importantly why I believe the way I do. Through debate I reinforce my commitment to my point of view.
It is one of our fundamental rights. The right to free speech.
g-day!
