Be sure to get enough folic acid every day. Try to relax and have fun, go away on a short vacation if you can. There is a great website that can help you become very aware of your cycles, when you ovulate, etc. it's called fertilityfriend.com. There is tons of helpful advice there. Go to the dollar store and get a bunch of ovulation prediction kits too, these can verify when you ovulate. Be sure and "do it" (have sex) at least once a day during the 5 days leading up to your expected ovulation date, because sperm can survive up to five days in your system. You might want to stay in bed with your hips elevated for half an hour or so after your husband ejaculates, to give the sperm the best chance of getting where they need to go. Do not use any douches or lubricants, they can kill sperm. There is one kind of lubricant you can use, it's called proseed. But stay away from the others. Husband should stay away from sources of heat like tight underwear or hot tubs, these reduce sperm count. Also no smoking for either of you! Limit alcohol, and no marijuana too, if that's something you guys do. There is an herb called False Unicorn Root that is supposed to be VERY helpful in conceiving. Good luck!

Nothing is "fool proof" (there are too many "fools" for that to be possible :) ). BUT, here's a tip you CAN take to the bank: STOP TRYING SO HARD. I don't know HOW MANY times- I've seen Couples jump through "hoops" trying to concieve- only to fail over & over again... -And then they "give up" & go off on a fun weekend someplace, -have a GREAT, relaxing time, - and end coming home Pregnant!!! Some things in life just don't GO "according to plan". Ma Nature has her OWN "plans"- & sometimes we should leave them up to "her", as SHE usually knows what's BEST for us anyway! Life is short. Enjoy what IS, - and let "what will BE"- come of its OWN accord! Good luck! :)

I had sex everyday, more than twice a day for a few months. I wasnt trying to concieve, but what do ya know......Lots of unprotected sex leads to babies. I dont know that there is any "foolproof" ways. Just relax and have fun with it. I know this is hard, but it seems like the more relaxed couples who are making love because they want to be together and not as a babymaking chore are the ones who dont have alot of trouble concieving. If the things you are doing arent working then go back on your meds for awhile. When you are ready to try again then see a fertility specialist. GOOD LUCK! and congrats to you when you do concieve!!!!

Lie with your body higher than your head, so that sperm does not flow away from the cervix, for an hour after having sex, or at least 20 mins., and have a lot of sex when you are most fertile (ask your doctor/gyn about temperature fluctuations determining this). Eat folate containing foods, like broccoli, and don't drink alcohol, or smoke.

I respect your responsible approach. From 10 days to 2 weeks after your period ends is prime time. After coitus, put a pillow under your bum and keep your legs up for at least 15 minutes to allow gravity do its work.
Do not let your husband wear briefs, as heat is spermatozoa worst enemy. Boxers work well. Also no hot tubs for him 4 hours prior to having sex. The best of Luck!!!!
