Exercise and maintaining a diet 40::30::30 in carb::fat::protein calories can reduce appetite.
Exercise reduces appetite by putting your body into a catabolic (energy releasing) state rather than a anabolic (growth) state. The catabolic state is incompatible with hunger.
The 40::30::30 diet was popularized by Dr. Barry Sears when he wrote about the Zone Diet. This works by stabilizing your insulin production and your blood sugar levels. It avoids insulin surges which will plummet blood sugar and make you hungry before your body really needs more food.
You should stick to the 40-30-30 rule for every meal, For your carbs, avoid highly processed, refined foods. Sticking to whole grains, fruits and vegetables makes the food take longer to digest and keeps you satisfied longer.
Don't imagine even for a minute that you can lose weight and keep it off without changing your lifestyle to one that includes exercise or having a child every year (unless you start using drugs, of course). The human body evolved to be in balance when it is engaged in hard physical labor or, for women, childbearing and nursing. It did not evolve to be in good health in lifestyle of sitting on the couch, eating potato chips. There is no way to get around this very simple fact of our biology.

What it your diet like now and how much to you exercise?
I have been recently looking at interval training for cardio, check out HIIT on the internet. It is High-intensity interval training, you can find alot on about it on the internet.
One thing i am trying right now is 4-5 minutes of warm up cardio, then 1 minute high intensity then 2 minutes of moderate. Do that a few times during your cardio regiment, then finish off with 4-5 minutes of cool down. Remember to do you weight training first then cardio.

To sum it up:
-eat smaller more frequent meals
-drink plenty of water
-take a walk after eating if possible
-eat a salad with lunch and dinner (lettuce is mostly water)
Remember, your ability to lose weight depends on using the calories you intake so exercise whenever possible. Isnt it a nice night for a walk....

don't make yourself go hungry. eat about 1500 calories a day and spread them out so that your eating every 2-3 hours. that way you don't give your body time to get hungry and you force your metabolism to get in the habbit of working all day. if your still hungry after 1500 calories, try drinking water, that always fills me up.

Imagine your food is sickly disgusting ... don't smell it, because that sickly disgusting food smells really bad. And you would never put anything that sick looking inside your body.
Grab a juicy fruit or carrot. Snack on something that puts life into your body...

My grandfather had the perfect solution for that. His suggestion was to stop bending your elbow. Try it. It works.
