No, I don't think that Alton Brown would be a good Iron Chef. I think that Ina Garten or Paula Deen would be interesting additions, though! Or Michael Chiarello and Giada De Laurentis.....ever wonder why they aren't a part of the Food Network super hype? I think its because they are true to their trade....not the flash in the pan stuff.

My mother loves Mario. I don't know anyone who likes Bobby. I like Cat for no reason. Alton Brown is charasmatic, but he's a so so Chef.

Batali, Morimoto, Cora, Flay.

I don't think AB would be a great iron chef... it's not really his bag. Too much complicated stuff for the guy who only allows one uni-tasker in his house. I love him anyway though.

It all depends on who is judging the competition. Remember when they had the battle of the masters and had Morimoto and Sakai competing with American chefs? That was so fixed! I couldnt believe that the Japanese chefs lost ALL the battles. It all depends on what the judges' pallet is used to and it could easily be fixed.

Emeril is the KING.

They are all awesome and deserve their success.

I would like to see more Latin chefs without the gimmick Latin influence. Let them be their own boss of the show. For Example, Batali-Italian, Flay-American, Morimoto-Asian, where is the Latin from Mexico. Didn't you know the Tomato came from Mexico before heading for Italy.
