Most Recruiter only prefer Software Primavera than MS Project to select a job seeker. Primavera is seem to be in DOS style, it is not user friendly like as MS project. What may be the special quality that govern over MS Project. What is not in the MS Project that are on the Primavera.

In primavera copying from excel file is rediculous. only one row could be copied at a time, but in MS Project required numbers of row could be copied at a time.

For managing projects Primavera and MS Project are virtually the same in producing timelines for the project and assigning resources. Neither is particularly user friendly.

Primavera also does lots of other software - portfolio management, cost management and more.

MS Project would be my choice for straight project management.

If you mean Windows XP, typically it is licensed such that it can only be installed on one machine. This is also typically true for Office also, unless you are talking about a business license agreement, which will vary. Some software is licensed in such a way that if you personally have 2 PCs, say a desktop and a notebook, it may be allowed to be installed in both places, as long as you are the only user. It comes down to the fine print.
