We all have lymphnodes all over our body.

While they can become swollem due to cancer it is more common that they are swollen due to infection.

Cancer does not cause pus to form, infection does.

You have an infected lymph node, you were given antibiotics, which haven't fully cleared up the infection so it is back.

Go see your Dr, he may have to prescribe stronger antibiotics, or just another course of treatment.

The longer you leave it, the worse it will get.

As Tarkarri has stated, there are Lymph nodes all over the body, and they are part of the immune system. It is our immune system that reacts to infection, so it stands to reason that there would be pus at the point where the condition was found. Considering it is in the jaw, there is a possible connection to an abscessed tooth as well. In either case, you need to continue antibiotic treatment until it clears up.

If your really that worried, you should talk to your doctor. But if you had an infection it can take a little while for the swelling in the lymph nodes to go down because they have a slow drainage system. I got really sick one time and the lymph nodes in my neck swelled up and even when I was better they stayed a little swollen for quite a while afterward, its really nothing to worry about.
