Hiya , ,Good question. :-)
I think you are most likely referring to the passage in John 20:20-29 where it deals with doubting Thomas.
Thomas was a disciple that refused to believe ¨unless he saw the scars on his hands and side.¨
Jesus , after being resurrected but before ascending to heaven , took the form of man again assure them that he had indeed risen from the grave.
This body was not a real human body , but ,you could say , a replica.
Thomas insisted on seeing the wounds of Jesus with his own physical eyes , instead of relying on things with perception of the spirit.
The materialized body of Jesus did indeed have the marks from the crucifiction . so Thomas believed.
Jesus later on went to heaven where he has a perfect spirit body and he is now sitting at the right hand of his father - Jehovah God.
Because he is now a spirit , he has no fleshly body , so in a fleshly sense he has no scars visible.
But today can see his scars in a figurative way.
Him having that human life course and suffering perfect until death makes him qualified to be our high priest , savior and mediator to God.
In such a position he , working on Gods behalf, is able to provide spiritual blessings now , and real physical blessings for the earth in the near future.
Without those 'scars' this would have been impossible.
So in that way , everyone will be able to see those scars , by what they have accomplished,,that is , it has given us the way for a perfect ransom sacrifice which man needed to redeem him from sins and bring him to an acceptable position before God.

I'd like a reference on that one too, perhaps I missed it, but I don't remember where the Bible saying we will see His scars. He did show his scarred hand to Thomas (doubting Thomas) after his ascension. I think it's mentioned in Acts 1 maybe...somewhere in the first books at least.
I personally think that Jesus - being as great as He is- will be able to show us where the scars were. Heaven's going to be different...His power will be completely manifested. If He could create the sun in a instant, I would have to believe He could show you the scar and have it disappear the next moment. He made things here on earth happen like that, why couldn't He do it in Heaven?
Thanks for asking though....those kinds of things can get a little confusing. The biggest thing to know is that He was wounded for our sins and what trusting/obeying Him will bring...everlasting life. Yea!

We will all have a perfected body, made for the new kingdom and earth, incorruptible....... I believe, and this is just ME, that we will see the scars for ONLY an instant in time, to confirm who he is....... Everything is not explained in full....... just believe you will KNOW Him....... go in peace...... God bless

Sorry, really I'm deeply sorry. The bible is full of contradictions and when read from an objective view point makes no sense at all, to say it in the nicest terms possible.
As a Christian, you probably look at God asking Abraham to sacrifice Issac as a "test of faith"; take a moment and imagine if some Deity said that you needed to kill your child -- honestly would it be "faith"???? Would you have the same answer if a Muslim or Mormon told you that god told them to sacrifice their child? Think about it...

I believe Jesus will have the only imperfect body in heaven.
Just a reminder of how much He loved us.

Ahh congrats....one of about a thousand contradictions.
Matt.27:46,50: "And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, "Eli, eli, lama sabachthani?" that is to say, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" ...Jesus, when he cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost."
Luke23:46: "And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, "Father, unto thy hands I commend my spirit:" and having said thus, he gave up the ghost."
John19:30: "When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, "It is finished:" and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost
