No, simply being -human- means you tend to think you know better than most. It's called "c**k of the walk" syndrome, and all humans are infected with it.

In any given situation, however, one's CotW syndrome is given a momentary antidote and disappears for a time - the antidote being a nice big slice of roasted crow with an equally nice big piece of humble pie for desert. I.e., the antidote is having someone prove you wrong, especially if it was regarding some particularly deep-seated belief.

Don't forget that they have large numbers state government employees working for them, too. Ready to sift and snitch in a heartbeat. Look what happened to Joe the Plumber. Ohio state officials were lining up to sniff his shorts. The head sniffer actually took a hike in order to keep anyone from looking deeper into those activities.

What does your deepest gut tell you? Even if it is not what you want to hear? It is you. What is it saying to you? Even if you have no visible evidence? Crazy? If you are willing to say you are not right, and you are able to say maybe I am not sure, then maybe you know the answer to your own question but are unwilling to accept it? Search yourself again. You are your own best mentor. In many ways.

It just means you have a difference of opinion. There are no actual facts to go on, just what some PERSON had written.

No it really goes to facts in evidence and both sides may have merit as well.

Disagreeing with someone means you know better only when you're right.
