Do guys like it when...?

Do guys like it when girls tell them how they feel about them? A friend of mine said a girl should NEVER approach a guy and I'm wondering if all guys feel this way?

He and I are friends and we flirt all the time.

And the friend that gave me the advice is a guy.

Guys these days love it when a woman knows what she wants.

Coming from a guy, the world would run alot smoother if the woman would actually say what she wants and feels instead of making the man guess, or assume, or the guy should already know what you want or how you feel.
Makes things go by alot smoother and both parties end up knowing what the other wants other than beating around the bush.

So-o make yourself and the guy happy and tell the guy what you want!

Okay first it depends if your in a relationship of a sort, I mean you don't go up to any person and tell them how you feel, but if yours friends or more, I wouldn't really listen because It's unneeded information. I'm not saying you should talk about hockey but try to find some relations between the two, you may both like video games, or a certain artist and bring it up occasionally, but not daily.

When I was younger I thought that you never told a guy how you felt. I thought that all relationships were good for was to get what ever you wanted out of them and then move on. If you are in a relationship with a guy that doesnt seem to care about your feeling then you need to move on if a guy is really into you then he will want to hear all the time that you are thinking of him

Depends on the type of guy he is. I myself appreciate getting feelings out there without playing those stupid little games that we all like to play for some reason. Tell them how you feel, that's what i would want.

As fatherly advice, it's not advisable. You'll come across as needy or clingy. It's more important for you to hold "guys" to high standards and be really ladylike and mature.

I might be different later on in an established relationship.

no way, if you're close with one of us and you know he feels good around you, you should definately tell him how you feel. now, being spontaneous might hurt you cuz girls and guys are pretty much the same when it comes to first impressions, in attitude, physical beauty, etc. so, if you don't really know him, i would say don't tell him cuz he'll probably just think you're a weirdo stalker. i would probably feel it out first if I were you.

Some guys like it, but it's safe to say most don't. And if your talking about telling a stranger, you sure should not do that....guys don't want to hear some weird girl's feelings.

well then i must really be hated because if i feel strongly enough to do so i will tell a man in a heart beat that he got it going on and so on. i like flirting with guys or being blunt. it catches them off guard. they dont seem to be offended to me!

Your friend is unintelligently designed. I hope I speak for most guys when I say guys definately like to be approached by chicks unless they're homosexual. If you're annoying as hell, of course then don't approach anybody please.

Hell No! Guys nowadays are so shy that some girls that are really beautiful never get asked out because they're so shy. It's not "tradition" or some ****... though, you shouldn't directly ask, flirt, he'll get the picture...
