I weigh currently 192 lbs.

How much do I need to lose to get down to the "ideal weight" for my heigth and build??

there is no ideal weight as such, i believe. if we compare a person with a car, for example, we can't ask for an ideal weight for a car. The correct question should sound What is the ideal weight for doing this and that or being this and that.

If you are talking about just being healthy and nothing specific then it is probably your height minus one hundred or 105 (I am talking about the metric system, sorry) .

Using BMI alone you should be no more than 175lbs. However even if your weight is reduced to normal, waist size and circumference at hip and umbilicus are still important and might still indicate that you have weight risk.
