There are serious issues relating to power in the relationship. They can interfere with the romance. Also if it doesn't work not only are you let down by the other person, but have to either live with the uncomfortable environment and teasing - or have to find a new job.

Well it just is esp because if things go wrong it could go poorly for you. also most places don't allow you to date above or below your level.. even if you do its a bad idea because you will always have to be seeing them and then there's the added fact that everyone else will dislike the fact that you're getting special treatment. Most companies don't like this because of course you're going to have favoritism towards each other.

This being said i've been dating my boss for 8 months now =) Like i said, maybe not the best idea but hey! sometimes you just gotta break the rulses lol ;)

There's no problem all I have to say is, there's a time and place for everything.

The only problems people usually have with this is that they need to separate 'work' from 'relationship' and they usually don't. You can't have 'relationship arguments' in the workplace it's inappropriate.

Because eventually there will be an argument or you will breakup -- and when this happens you still have to go to work and work with that person,,,

It's awkward at best.

Better to keep work and personal life seperate...
