Yes it is, NosNod:
The problem manifests itself when someone tries to make the Bible say what it doesn't say--usually takes a Masters Degree in theology to fool the people into believing fables.
However, when the Bible is prayerfully read in its simplicity, it is easy to understand.
God reorients us to primitive beliefs in a Bible code--read it and you will see what I'm talking about. http://abiblecode.tripod.com
Shalom, peace in Jesus, Ben Yeshua

Yes, I think it easier than we make it out to be. If you want to unlock and understand the word of the Bible. Just do what all Christian are taught to do, first start prayer allowing the Holy Spirit the Author of the Bible to reveal, teach and correct you to understand the Bible. :)

All you need to do is meet the author:
"He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures."
Luke 24:44-45
"But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you."
John 14:26
"But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. He will bring glory to me by taking from what is mine and making it known to you."
John 16:13-14

Jesus is very simple . The fact is , that we don't come into the knowledge of God's Word until we have the Holy Spirit.
Otherwise it is nothing but a story book to us.

God says what He means, and means what He says. To take the Word any other way than written is to misinterpret it, when it is the Holy Spirit that does the interpreting...

No one can understand the bible unless the Holy Spirit dwells in them. God has made it impossible for the unbeliever to understand. No wonder they don't get it.

It's definitely easier for believers to understand than non-believers because the Holy Spirit quickens it to us.
