I just came back from two gruelling exams. Advanced English (wrote 16 pages) and Economics (wrote 12). My hand is cramped, I have a headache and I need some effective ways of de-stressing for say, 3 hours. Then I have to get to work for Biology and Maths tommorow.

Thanks! (Don't say sleep though, because I need to be awake for later study!)

Take a long bath. And eat ice cream. That's what I do :)

Have a small amount of wine, light some candles...and set a timer. Go into a state of meditation....half hour, just sit. The timer is to make sure you do not fall asleep. Let your mind just focus on one thing, if you have never meditated try thinking of one color, and having that color warm ever part of the body, start with your feet and end with your head. Make sure that is all you think about. Make sure you take deep cleansing breaths.
After a half and hour to an hour of this, get up, and if you are sleepy do some yoga to get the core warm and awake, or go for a brisk walk around the block.
Trust me, I am a collage student, and this ALWAYS works.

Hmm... Just do something you like doing. Like reading comic books, or go play games on the computer. ^_^ Or draw/sketch some stuff. If you play an instrument, practice playing songs. Then, you can study. I hope that helps. Good luck with your exams!

Two things worked for me. I'd play soft, mellow music and meditate, or watch a hilarious movie that would make me belly laugh. It worked like a charm!

sit down and watch some TV, lie down and listen to music, watch your favorite movie, have a snack, talk to some friends, take a shower or nice bubble bath, get some fresh air and go for a walk or some other type of exercise
