The dorm room I'm in has triple furniture (bunk beds), and since I am not used to being in such a cramped room, I have accidentally hit my head several times against the beds (one has a desk underneath it, everytime I want to work at that desk I accidentally hit my head). It has been two days and the pain is still excruciating. I have been taking Advil, and I have just started icing the area as well. Help! I don't know what to do.

You could have a mild concussion. Go to the school medical center for a check-up. Your spine could be out of alignment and is causing the pain. I would try something for a tension/migraine headache. I use Rapid Release Tylenol for quick relief. Hope you feel better!

Actually this is mechanical pain. Pain killer meds will give temp relief, but rest and acupressure are the two things help you.
There is no medicine for almost all painful diseases.

If it is acute pl search a painful point 3-6 mm behind your thumb nail and press it, H/A will disappear within 30 seconds.

Please talk to the nurse at the Student health clinic to have them evaluate this situation further to see what they think is going on.
