1. People who breed just because their dog has "papers"
2. People who walk their dogs on log chains
3. Breeding yet another "new and rare" mixed breed
4. People who breed without a clue as to the breed standard
5. Parents not properly supervising their children at dog shows
6. Those who drop off their dogs in the middle of nowhere (i.e, by MY house!)
7. Not picking up poop
8. Dog fighting or betting on fights
9. People that can't properly spell the breed of dog they have!
10. People that get p*ssed off when they ask "what do you think of my dog, how much to breed to your male?" and I tell them "spay her, she's a pet"...
Sorry! Been one of those days!

What peeves me the most are owners who have a dog, leave it in the backyard all day, never walk it, play with it, pay attention to it etc... and then have the nerve to be upset when neighbours complain about the barking or call the humane society because of neglect... a pet is a responsibility and a part of your family. It's simple and I don't know why some people can't figure this out- having a pet is just like having a child- you have to love it and take care of it to the best of your ability.

Off leash. Improperly leashed. Improper use of "flexi leashes". Assumption that everyone loves their dog and doesn't mind dog jumping on them etc.
Not picking up immediately and completely dog's feces.
Not controlling barking. Barker breaker collars are inexpensive and humane and work great.
Not controlling fleas in yard which easily spread to adjacent yards.
Not having female dogs spayed which can sometimes make male dogs go batty.
Not having females spayed and males neutered and then wondering how it happened, the female pregnant and pups unwanted, unplanned.
Not having the money to provide medical care when an emergency arises and expecting credit from the vet and/or groomer.
Not doing the research on a particular breed BEFORE getting it and then complaining about the dog and dumping it at the nearest shelter.
Not donating money to good dog charities and canine health research programs.
And tons of other issues.

My neighbors dog keeps coming in our yard to lift leg. He's pee'd on patio furniture, coolers, car tires ( that now squeak ) and my flowers.
But the real bad thing that sent me over to their house, My 9 yr old OES was laying in the shade sound asleep, and this dog comes to him, smells butt and then lifts his leg on my sleeping dog.
Don't worry folks, they foot the bill for the groomer as he had his full winter coat of 8 inches of hair. After that the neighbors put up and electric fence, but they keep forgetting to charge up the collars batteries. :-0
We are cordial and polite, but not as friendly as we once were ;(
And yeah I didn't like the fact that my dog let him do it. What's that all about......?????

Having a HUGE heavy metal collar on a dog all the time. I hate that. Like the huge spikey metal collars. Those don't make your dog look tough. They make the owner look mean. Why the ***** any dog would need a collar that is bigger than it's neck and sticks out at least 2 inches off their neck is beyond me. I really hate it when they stick them on small dogs.
I want to yell those are going to damage your dogs neck and they could even be paralized by them. ***hole!!!!

Irresponsible breeders of any dogs, purebred or mixed breed (designer dogs.)
People who tie their dog out on a chain or lock it in a small pen and never pay any attention to it.
People who have money for everything, but if the dog gets sick or injured, they "can't afford it."
People who get a dog,get sick of it after a few months, get rid of it,and then go and get another dog.
People who take their elderly dogs to the pound and leave them, and then go and get a puppy.
People who think purebreds are better than mixed breeds.
People who don't spay or neuter.
People who keep pets outside with no shelter or no bedding.
People who can't spell or pronounce the breed of their own dog.
People who think their are "mini" or "teacup" versions of everything, like Miniature Dobermans,or Miniature Collies,or Teacup Poodles,or people who insist on calling German Shepherds,"German Police Dogs."
Peopl who let their dogs get badly matted and then won't take them to a groomer.
People who leave their dogs in hot cars or let them ride in the back of pickups.
Oh,and that word "spaded," LOL,that drives me crazy, too!

Those that get on this site asking for free emergency medical advice instead of taking their pet to the vet like it needs. If there is a problem and if you care about your pet, then you know that you need to take it to a professional for proper care so that it will live with you for a long time.

Ignoring leash laws.
Leashes are NOT "enslavement", it's the same as a seat belt in the car or a helmet when you ride a bicycle. Safety for both people and the dogs!
Nuisance barking.
Can't they hear the non-stop barking? How do they sleep?
Keeping dogs that bite.
Biting people should be a death sentence for dogs. It's just not worth the risk. Try everything to re-train them, of course, but I just think we need to draw a hard line on biting dogs.

I'm certainly not perfect, but I have a whole list...
-People randomly wanting to bring their dogs to "meet and play" with my dogs...especially when we're on a walk or my dogs are trying to use the restroom.
-People that don't pick up after the dog's potty break.
-People that don't use leashes and have little to no control over their dog.
-People that breed without knowing what they are doing.
-People that abuse their animals.

When little dog owners have an aggressive dog that is going berzerko on the leash and number 1) they can't control their 6 pound dog and number 2) they think it's cute/funny/silly
I have a 50 pound dog that when he acts the EXACT same way, it's not so cute, it's not so funny - and that's so not fair for them to sit there and judge me and my dog when there rat-butt dog is acting the same way.
