America wasn't founded on Islamic beliefs. They have Iraq, Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, etc.
America was founded on religious freedom. I'm a devout Christian as all R&S regulars know and still I don't have ONE SINGLE PROBLEM with the US Pledge of Allegiance saying "One nation, indivisible..."

Yep, you're right: it wouldn't mean anything if someone changed it to "one nation, under Allah," because that would just mean "one nation, under God." It would be a little weird to only change one word into Arabic (I usually only say "Allah" if I'm speaking Arabic, otherwise I'll say God, but I know others differ). I actually think it would be nice to have a full Arabic translation of the pledge of allegiance, as well as translations into other languages. That way, the message of the pledge of allegiance could be understood by people who are trying to learn English. Wouldn't it be great if the first thing people learned how to say in American English was the pledge of allegiance?

Additionally, how many right-wing Christian Americans are aware that "the Pledge" was composed by a National Socialist (or, if you prefer, a Nazi) as a means of encouraging children and other citizens to feel a debt of loyalty to The State?

It won't mean any thing, except that it would be really weird using an Arabic word in between a pledge that is written in English. They should either just translate the whole thing or leave it at that if they want to do it.

It equals religious intrusion into a secular pledge that stands for all citizens.
Just like when McCarthyism helped to alter the original pledge in the first place, which never included "under god."

I agree with Tardis Girl, and I'll add my opinion that no deities should be mentioned in the Pledge at all.
In fact, I'd rewrite it so that we're pledging allegiance to our NATION, not to our FLAG. The flag is just a piece of cloth that 's a symbol for the nation. I'd rather state my allegiance to the nation itself.

Didn't you just answer your own question?
God =Allah.
Muslims have many other words for God besides Allah, many in foreign languages (which are all acceptable and widely used by non-Arab Muslims).

Type down the word "God" in this Aramaic dictionary to find out what Jesus used to call God:
