It depends on what sense you mean the word "Love". As physical beings we do, of course, need air, food, light, shelter, clothing, water, etc. But our souls, our 'spiritual beings' live and thrive on only one thing, and that thing is Love - LOVE being defined at this point as the Perfect Being, the Source of All, the Divine Spark which makes up all of us, and all creation. In that sense, yes, all we need, spiritually is Love...we need to BE Love not just have love or give love or experience love. We need to BE LOVE (the verb, NOT the noun).

No. Love is a nice luxury, but it's not necessary to live a good life. Nor will love provide you with the essentials you need to survive.
