You got it half right. You will certainly remember all those from the present who are saved, but you will have no memory of those who preferred to spend eternity in the lake of fire.

Yes. The Thessalonian Christians were apparently very concerned about their Christian loved ones who had died. They expressed their concern to the apostle Paul. So, in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17, Paul deals with the "dead in Christ" and assures the Thessalonian Christians that there will indeed be a reunion. And yes, believers will recognize their loved ones in the eternal state.
We are told in 2 Samuel 12:23 that David knew he would be reunited with his deceased son in heaven. He had no doubt about recognizing him. As well when Moses and Elijah (who had long passed from earthly life) appeared to Jesus on the Mount of Transfiguration (Mat 17:1-8), they were recognized by all who were present. Furthermore, in Jesus' story of the rich man and Lazarus in Luke 16:19-31, the rich man, Lazarus, and Abraham were all recognized by each other in the intermediate state.

Regardless of what it says in the Bible, you will still not know whether or not it's true. The Bible was written by a small group of men in the 2nd-3rd century and then later revised by Constantine with help from other 'experts' of the day. It's a really fascinating book, but it's not 'truth', it's a religious tract devised to solidify a religion.

I think you will know your family and friends.

When David’s infant son died as a result of David’s sin with Bathsheba, after his time of grief David declared, “But now he is dead, wherefore should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me” (2 Samuel 12:23). David assumed that he would be able to recognize his son in heaven, despite the fact that he died as a baby. The Bible declares that when we arrive in Heaven, we will “be like Him; for we shall see Him as He is” (1 John 3:2).

I've never read anything in the Bible that said we would not recognize loved ones in Heaven.

brian.... when a husband and wife are sealed to each other all of their children are under that sealing as well in regards to mormon beliefs
If we were all sealed as we should be under the priesthood authority and the covenant then in reality we would all be sealed together, keeping our individual earthly family relations in tact.

The Bible holds husbands and wives to be as one. Besides the Godhead, there really should be nothing more important then our families.

I have heard that as well. I will see if I can find it.

While marriage and perhaps family relationships will be different in glory (Matthew 22:30), the ability to recognize each other seems a valid deduction.

Yes, we will recognize our friends and family, but our relationship will be on a different level. We will not be attached in the same way we are here on earth. In the Bible, the rich man who went to hell asked Lazarus the begger, go warn his brothers about hell.

The Bible does not say if we will know or not. Though there is no reason to believe that we will not be able to recognize each other.
