What was the defining moment for you when you discovered what your purpose is here on Earth?

As a Christian my purpose is to spread the good news about Jesus Christ first and formost. All Christians have this calling in some form or fashion. I was working with prisoners when my moment came that I knew exactly what I was supposed to be doing. The Bible talks about visiting prisoners, thats been my mission for a long time now. The Holy Spirit spoke loud and clear that day. I hope you have recieved your mission from Jesus. Everybody has one, sometimes we let our own free will get in the way of God really wants us to be a doing. Serving Christ has brought me peace and a contentment though and I would trade that for no amount of money, I've seen first hand what money does to people, its not our purpose here on this earth to make as much money as we can, The Bible says the Love of Money is the root of all evil, 1st Tim. 6:10, money is an idol that keeps us from finding our purpose. I hope you have found your purpose, if not maybe God has something special in store, you never till you ask. God Bless YOU!!

I feel my purpose in life is twofold:
1 - To learn the lessons of the soul I still need learning.
2 - To help others and teach them and to help the animals of this world, especially dogs and cats.
I discovered my purposes through many different ways, and there was no one defining moment for me. I think everyone's purpose is a little bit different. Our goal in life is to discover what we are meant to do, and for some of us, we are meant, merely to seek that purpose and by doing so, discover more about our inner selves.

i believe i have basic purposes, and deeper purposes. my basic purposes i know is to bring as many people to Jesus Christ as I can. My deeper purpose i am still trying to discover.

my defining moment was when i realized i don't have a purpose. and i'm totally content with that.
