The Apostle Paul said, "Eye has not seen, ear has not heard the things God has in store for those who love him." That, despite knowing Jesus corrected the religious leaders of his day who imagined there would be marriage in heaven. Jesus said that in the resurrection we are neither married, nor given in marriage, but are as the angels.
To be with Christ will be heaven - pure joy - total love. The location is irrelevant. We will adore him and worship before the Throne. (And if Gabriel DOES have a trumpet, I'll sign up to join his praise band!)

Righteous people who had obeyed all of God's commandments--including the commandments of authorized baptism and sealing of man and wife, living righteously on earth, will inherit the highest kingdom of glory in Heaven where God the Father and His Son reside.
It will be a place of eternal progression and exaltation where families remain intact and together. Those not obeying all the commandments as set forth in the scriptures will inherit lower kingdoms of Heaven and will not progress but will remain as servants of the Most High as angels for the eternities.
I would not think that HBO on Demand will be available in Heaven. Such a mundane suggestion! In the highest kingdom a person will be able to see the past, the present, and the future.
Those people living in wickedness while in mortality and do not repent will inherit a lesser kingdom not fit for glory. There won't be any HBO or drugs there either. Just mental anguish and regrets that will be AS a lake of fire and brimstone.

Heaven is real place. A land of dreams come true. Paradise in the true sense of the word. Heavenly happiness is far more different than earthly happiness. There is no sorrow, no tears, no sadness, no sickness, no war, and no death in heaven. That is the land of ecstasy, joy and fullness of being. What you have said about heaven is pure earthly thing. Unless you will experience God in your personal life, you won't believe about spiritual matters. Look, if heaven is not a real place, then good people who grow tired of doing good work in their lifetime will end up in the same situation like the evil people after death - both dead. Their good works will end up in vain. Then the evil people have reason to rejoice because they were more lucky, they had not done any good work while living and yet their destination after death was just the same as the good ones. Think about it.

Assuming there is heaven, then how ought to heaven and those living there be fabric issues? And in case you're non-fabric and don't have actual physique, how do you have the 5 senses to take exhilaration in issues you like on earth? perchance, being alive in heaven is in simple terms life for there must be no unhappiness (and no exhilaration the two, because of the fact purely devoid of exhilaration, then there could be no unhappiness), no experience of something - interior the comparable way that there is not any hate (yet no love - considering the fact that those are relative). you in simple terms exist, no longer understanding for what (no expectation and no unhappiness the two). in simple terms organic life, with no longer something, no living soul around because of the fact with no longer something to evaluate, then there is not any strife, not greater powerful or worse, no elegance or gruesome, no taller/shorter . . . in a nutshell, truthfully no longer something for assessment so as that it may be in simple terms an impassive life.

only the lazy people would think like that. to worry if heaven has got HBO on demand? what's so important about HBO that it should be allowed into heaven?
in heaven, there's more to LIFE than just getting married, having children, making love and watching movies. these things DO NOT define happiness. happiness is more than all that. you ever watched a child going around the house totally engrossed in her "child play"? you ever watched the fact that she does not worry about anything that's going on around her? did you ever sit and think, what if ALL of life were like that?
well, heaven, my friend will be like that. there will be so much to do to take our attention away from ANY sort of worries, that we will constantly be happy - no problems to solve, no movies to watch, no sin to ponder on. we won't be confined to a four-walled corruptible apartment watching HBO and eating popcorn - stuff that demoralizes the mind and drags our health to the gutters!
in case you did not know, sex was approved by God at creation - within the confines of marriage of course. so of course, it will be allowed - because we will still have families in heaven. not families that cease, but ever growing families!

I think Heaven doesn't have time. Without time, there is no law of diminishing returns --- looking at a pretty flower never gets boring, you never get tired of eating ice cream, etc.
I know we don't get married or have children (the Bible tells us that) in heaven. As for sex, I don't know. No, probably no HBO.
But lots and lots of chocolate milkshakes. And oh yeah, I'm gonna be supertan! ;)
I think where a lot of people think that Heaven is going to be boring is because they can't imagine a world without the excitement of conflict being anything other than boring. But again, if there's no time and the things you enjoy never grow dull --- how could that ever be boring?
(Not to mention the fact that as much as many people think this is hokum, being in the presence of the Living God will never grow dull --- just think of the questions we can ask and what He can teach us!!!).

It depends on your religion.
If you are a Christian, you will spend all your time with Jesus and Mother Teresa [there will be no carnal desire... understandably].
If you are a Muslim, you will have everything than you can ask for (within reason, of course...Muslims think you will be wise enough by then to make the right choices).
If you are Jewish, there is no afterlife. And if there is, you'll come back to Earth and build Jewish settlements all over the globe, with no Palestinians or Iranians to worry about.

heaven isn't a dream for junkies.
"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." (Revelation 21:4)
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits, [according to] the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was [of] jasper: and the city [was] pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation [was] jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolite; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates [were] twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city [was] pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither [whatsoever] worketh abomination, or [maketh] a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life." (Revelation 21:1-27)
1. And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.
2 In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, [was there] the tree of life, which bare twelve [manner of] fruits, [and] yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree [were] for the healing of the nations.
3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:
4 And they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] in their foreheads.
5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Here's what I'm going to leave behind when I go to heaven:
Death ... disease ... joint pain ... wrinkles ... a broken heart (more than once) ... arrogance ... hatred ... stupidity ... and a whole host of human shortcomings.
I'll have a new body that will last forever. I'll be able to travel to the farthest reaches of the universe in the blink of any eye. There will be no need for sex (I'm kinda bummed about that one) but I trust that God knows what He's doing.
I will have a home that was designed by God with my dreams, desires and tastes in mind. When I go outside I'll be walking on streets of pure gold.
Check out the last few chapters of Revelation, where John talks about hos vision of New Jerusalem. It's pretty awesome.

Sylvia Browne has a very good book out about heaven. It sounds AMAZING. You should look at her books, she has a lot. I think it might be called Life on the Other Side, not sure, I've read so many......She goes into how we die and what happens after and everything we can do in heaven..it's great. A lot of people are turned off by her b/c she is a psychic but she believes in God and Christ and doesn't push her beliefs on you. Look into it, you'll be glad you did.
Also, she explains why there is no sex in heaven and why we don't care..........there's something better that we do with eachother but I forgot what it's called..........."merging?"
