The first date was really bad, and I felt NOTHING for the guy at all. He is probably going to call tomorrow to ask me out again. What can I say that is not mean, but yet also clearly says "do not call me again."

"no thank you i dont want to go out with you" is not mean ---- its honest and if it hurts his feelings then there is nothing you can do about that --- best wishes

"I don't think we should go out again." There's no 'nice' way to put it, but you can be reasonably civil. You *can* apologize but you don't have to; sometimes dates just don't work and it's not anyone's fault. That's why people date in the first place, to find out.

Chances are he knows you're not interested and may not call at all; he might also call just to confirm his suspicions while trying to be polite.

Tell him "I love you." Men usually get scared when they hear that. It makes them think you want a commitment LOL
