Try the Nuby kind. They are very close to a bottle. My son took one immediately. The good news it they are cheap and you can get them at Wal-Mart and Target.

How old is the baby? Maybe you're introducing it too young?
If baby is still nursing, you may need to go to a bottle instead of a sippy cup. Call you doctor and ask if you should be using the cup or the bottle... that shouldn't involve a trip in to the office- s/he should be able to call you back with an answer.

Also, try different cups- my daughter only liked one we found with a soft mouthpiece (I think it's Gerber's). We bought 3 because she would only drink from those. I think she couldn't figure out how to suck on the hard plastic...

Tell her, Sippy Cup, or no drink. Then when she learns she needs to use the sippy cup, not only will she use it, you wont have to nurse even in the night.

Hope it helps!

Start with a soft spout sippy and give it to her. We had a hard time switching from bottle to sippy but we didn't cave in it was hard but we had to do it. Leave the sippy out for her she will eventually take it when she gets thirsty.

Would have to know how old your daughter is, if she's younger then one you might try bottle feeding her, to get used to holding something in her hands that will give her something to drink, and then later on try sippy cups.

what worked for my daughter was to only give her a sippy cup and eventually she will get the point that that is all she is getting

If she's old enough for a cup instead of a bottle, start with one with a soft top. If you're trying to get her to switch from breast, you'll need to start with a bottle, the design is more like your breast so she'll physically be able to drink from it.
