How would you pronounce Nane'?

How would you pronounce Nane'?

Nane' is a place name in Brazil, probably Portuguese origin. I would like to use the word to name my pet Red-foot tortoise which might have come from that general area.

However, I don't have a clue how to pronounce it!

Nay-nay?
Nah-Nay?
Nah-knee?

Anyone have a good idea?

nah-nay. a sounds like aww, e sounds like A.

and turtles are shaweet! i use to have a whole family in my front yard cause when I worked on a farm I would find em and take em home.

thats a cool name..
