You are approaching the Bible in the wrong way. If you do not believe that God wrote it, you will find flaws. Even if you believe God wrote it, you can interpret it wrongly. You need to be "Born Again." God living in you. It is the Holy Ghost who brings God's Word to life.

I'm not quite sure where you're going with this, so let's try this ...
The Old Testament and the New Testament are both inspired works of God. There were many human authors (the guys who did the writing) but every word was dictated by the same God through the Holy Spirit.
There is no conflict between the Old and New so there is no right and wrong. The Old Testament is about man's shortcomings and God's promise to fix the problem. The New Testament is about the problem fixed.

You are never going to find an answer to this question. To believe in either testament requires faith. And there are plenty of different interpretations of the bible, even amongst Christians - and that explains why there are so many different religions. Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, Lutherans, Protestants, Mormons, Jehovahs Witnesses etc... are ALL christian religions, and they all interpret the Bible a little differently.
The Old Testament was allegedly written before Christ's birth... and the New Testament was written after his birth. The difference between the testaments is chronological. Jews believe in the old testment, Christians believe in both, and hundreds of other religions believe in neither.
If you could get people to agree... you'd have the power to inspire world peace. Good Luck!

The Old Testament and the New Testament are all Gods word. It's all inspired by him. Yes,men actually physically wrote it but it's all from God. Jesus didn't sit down and write it out.
The OLD Testament is often overlooked by many Christians. They think that since Christ came, the Old testament doesn't matter any more. The Old Testament id full of the Law and many many commandments that we should still live by. Jesus said that he didn't come to do away with it but to fulfill it.
Neither testament is wrong. It's all good.

The Old Testament is right, the New Testament is right.
The OT is the Historical account and also filled with prophecies of the coming of Christ Jesus. The laws then were right and still are.
Where do things change?
The New Testament does not cancel out Old Testament laws at all. What happens is that Jesus fulfills many of the Old Testament laws and he makes a new promise (Salvation through him) because he, Messiah/Jesus, came as prophesied in Old Testament. He/Jesus fulfilled the requirements and now we have the new promise of Salvation through him.
The Old Testament promise was that the blood line of Abraham would be heir to all the Nations, then, his ancestors up until King David. King David is significant as he is the first faithful King of Israel/Jewish people, of which is Jesus' bloodline. Jesus came, fulfilling the Old Testament promise, as he is the final King, the only true King of every nation and the universe. Now he promises eternal life with him through salvation to those who make the choice to receive his gift.

Old testament is right, new testament is right.
My pastor put it this way last week...
The old testament is the new testament concealed; the new testament is the old testament revealed.
If by "wrote" you mean the act of inscribing the messages, then yes, people wrote the old testament and the new testament. So what, do you discount the information in a textbook because a person wrote it?
Makes sense to me that Jesus didn't write the new testament, that wasn't his job...with the obvious exception of the 10 commandments, God didn't write letters to people, he revealed his message to a person and that person wrote it down...the old testament "testifies" to this preferred communication method. Jesus delivered the message directly to thousands of people...he relied on them to spread the word using the resources at their disposal. Those that could write wrote letters, others created "oral traditions" they passed down thereby influencing later writers.
The new testament isn't a "book", it is a collection of books written by an unknown number of different people (I think it is 8 but I've heard estimates as high as 13). Most (perhaps even all) of the authors of the new testament referred to information from the old testament. The consistency of the message across these different writings provides support for the belief that God inspired the writings the same way he did the larger number of books and authors (39 books by 28 authors in KJV) that comprise the old testament!
Studied in light of the original perspective I mentioned, reading the new testament sheds light on some of the confusing and semingly inconsistent messages from God in the old testament revealing them as amazingly consistent with the essential theme of the entire bible...that we were created by a God that loves us so much that even though we walked away from him, he kept trying to bring us back to him...he finally came here himself to show us the way to him and allowed himself to the tortured and killed so that we could finally accept his love for us. He gave us an earthly example to follow so we can be reunited with him after our earthly existence ends. It really is fun to see it all come together but it can't happen without the lens of faith...to give you eyes that you might see and ears that you might hear!

hey girl, don't get confused.... i am not going to answer your question deeply, but i should say one thing though. that the word of God is true. John 1:1 says "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God." If the bible is the word of God then, the whole bible IS God.
there's no need for you to be confused about that. the old testament contains the scriptures which point to the coming of the Messiah - as the Jews view it. when the Messiah, Jesus Christ, arrived - during new testament times, the Jews did not accept Him as the Messiah. they rejected Him - hence His eventual crucifixion. [ the Jews are still waiting for their Messiah]
however, Christ's life really fulfilled a lot of what the old testament talks about. although He did not write any of the books of the Bible, the whole Bible is about Him, since He is God the Son. in the Bible, we see God - in whatever forms He manifests Himself in.
Both of the two testaments contain truths about who God is. if they didn't then God would not allow the scriptures to be existing in it's entirety as we know it now, would it?
I urge you to find a Bible teacher and find out as much as you can about this issue. I'm sure such a teacher will answer a lot of your questions.
Blessings

The Old Testament is right...but it is OLD...
The New Testament is right...it is NEW...
The Old Testament talks about the prophets and kings before Jesus came to the earth
The New Testament talks about Jesus' life and His Church
They may be wrong...but who knows? God never wrote anything(but the 10 commandments on the tablets) so who is to say the prophets who wrote the old testament is right or wrong?

Old Testament is the works of God leading up to the Messiah. It consists of History, Prophecy, Poetry, Wisdom and Law.
Each book contains an unveiling of a person: the Messiah and his role to bring the Kingdom of God.
The New Testament is the revealing of how Jesus of Nazareth fulfulled the Old Testament (old covenant) and brought a new and eternal covenant.

Neither are wrong. The Old Testament shows a veiled (foreshadowing) picture of Christ. The New Testament brings Him into center stage.
