Can someone explain what it means and is 24 really really high or is it average? I think I have hoshimotos. I have not taken my synthroyd in about 6 months and I feel like crap. I started bleeding, clotting and cramping really really bad and they said I was having a misscarriage but I knew that was not it. I do not have insurance so it is very hard for me to get any treatment because I do not have the money. Ahhhhhh, I need help. What symptoms will I have and what should I look for. What will happen if I don't get treatment. I know I need to trust me but I don't have the money for it. I will look into some assistance.

A doctors appointment will cost like 20bucks from a clinic if you can't afford to go to a doctors office you will not have to pay for your blood test and synthroid is only $12 for a three month supply get off you butt and have your self checked out

If you have hashimosos and haven't been taking your synthyroid then it is no wonder that you feell like crap and your TSH level is high.

Your body is trying hard to make your thyroid gland produce more thyroxine, hence the high TSH level, but because of the hashimotos your thyroid gland can't produce enough.

Long term effects of low thyroxine levels will be even worse!

Take your synthyroid, it's simple, and it works.
