Reports say women with hour glass shape is 8% but i see alot in sexy pictures. so whats true?

In the internet i found articles about how they say that shape of women has changed over the years and that the hour glass body type has decreased and will probably vanish or something. and that it is only 8% of women have that shape.

I've seen tons of sexy pictures in the web. and actually most of the girls have hot hour glass shapes. So why the scientist claim is that low?

If it was all on campus, then their stats are skewed because the age has a lot to do with the shape. Most of us gain weight on our bottoms faster than on our tops.
Most of the women I see are naturally pear, or spoon shaped.
Those of us who have lived with this body type know how to dress around it.
Also, there is a large percentage of silicon on the net!

Models are often from a very small percentage of the population. I mean to say that often what we find attractive is interesting because it is rare. So, when you see super tall thin women, we know that isn't the norm, nor is the hourglass figure.

Also, something to be considered is that some of these women that you see may actually not be hourglass-shaped by nature, but breast augmentation helps them appear to be more so...

Whatever is natural is what's best according to most men. I think beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Some people like big butts and some like big boobs so it just depends. I think the hour glass figure is beautiful

I notice lots of women have boy bodys...really slender, no shape at all.

Just like most women aren't 5'9" and 120lbs (like the picture you see on the internet), most women don't have an hourglass figure.
