Yes. U should back those words up with actions though. So many females fall victim to words, and no action, and then the guy dumps them after getting his way, and when she asks y? Then he tells her straight up, anyone can say words, but it takes a lot more to show a person what those words mean in context to them. Just because u do things, doesn't mean u don't need to say the words. I mean, how's she supposed to know y ur doing things? MayBe ur just a nice guy or something. But when u sit close to her, and hold her, and u kiss her gently and softly whisper I love u, in her ear, that means a lot to a girl. Suddenly, that dinner, u cooked for her, and the movie u guys are snuggling up and watching, has more meaning. Even if actions imply words, it still helps to hear them. Actions just help the receiver know that u mean the words behind them.

There are many types of love so you don't necessarily have to be IN love to say it. You can love many things about your gf and that is reason enough to say it! Your absolutely right, actions do speak louder than words BUT women do want to hear it and some even crave it.

So many men mess up thinking actions speak louder than words and never use words!! Yes actions are more important, but we need to hear your feelings once in a while.

Actions do play a big part in helping a person believe that they are loved.
But the actual words "I love you" are very strong and can make a person feel very special inside.
So with a combination of both actions and words I think you should be perfectly fine.
I hope you feel better soon.

Of course you should if your feelings are really true. You always have to reassure that special person in your life how much you care for her and how much you love her if that is the case, there's nothing more meaningful then hearing your lover say "I love you" to you and not only say it but mean it. Don't forget to always express your feelings!! Good luck!

That is the difference between men and women. Women love being shown that they are adored but we need to hear those 3 little words that can be so painful for a man to express. Men think they can show us and that's supposed to be good enough because it would be good enough for you, however, women are different and want to hear "I love you". Often.

Only if they mean it. You're right....actions do speak louder than words, but it's nice to hear "I love you" every now and then.

It is always good when someone you love tells you I love you. How would you feel is you were a girl and your bf can more than months without telling you I love you?

If you really love her you should for sure. Girls like to hear they are loved even though you may show it with actions it's nice to be told.

you need to tell her...but i think some people throw "i love you" around way too much nowadays....so don't say it unless you DO mean it. think about why you love her and that would be how you should tell her that you do love her. and the right time is crucial. plan it all out
