it depends on the soup! if it's a healthy soup with lots of veggies, some starch and some protein, you'd basically be getting the nutrients you need. Add a multivitamin and eat some yogurt or drink some milk and you'd have your dairy. Depends on how long you'd "live" on it! You need fresh foods. You might want to throw in some raw fruit with your meals! And don't use canned soups! Too much sodium!!!

The human body needs nutrition like protein and vitamins and minerals. If you don't get that nutrition, you will die.

So, it depends on what's in the soup. Is there meat or eggs and fresh vegetables? That's kind of good, but cooked veggies lose their vitamins, and you also need vitamin C, usually found in uncooked fruits and vegetables.

In other words, it's not likely you can survive for long on 'soup' and water.

Yes. Soup is a well rounded meal. You would have to have different soups every day to ensure you get a variety of nutrients, but it would be healthier than most Americans eat.

It depends on what's in the soup--are there veggies, grains, protein? Canned soups and soup mixes can be awfully high in sodium, so the person would want to make his/her own soups.

Done properly, I suppose so, but why would anyone want to?

You can. It would get boring though. Your body would naturally crave other tastes and textures. It also depends on what kind of soup you mean.

If the soup contains meat, vegetables, bread, and something with citrus, so you wont get scurvey. It is painful. I have had it several times.

you can but it wouldn't be very healthy since you wouldn't be getting all of the vital vitamins and minerals that help keep your body going everyday.
