There is only one God.
In Genesis 1:26, Jehovah was talking with his first creation, Jesus.
Colossians 1:15-16 may help to clear this up. speaking about Jesus,
15Â He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16Â because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him.
Gen 3:22 Is once again speaking about Jehovah and his spirit creations, The angels. They do know the difference between good and bad.
Gen 18:1-3, Jehovah is with two of his angels. If you read further verse 18 goes on to say "At this point the men turned from there and got on their way to Sod′om; but as for Jehovah, he was still standing before Abraham"
These are the two angels that saved Lot and his family.
1 John 5:7 speaks of 3 witnesses. That does not make them Gods.
Jesus himself said over and over he came to the Earth to do his father's will. Jesus worshipped the only true God. His father, the almighty, Jehovah.
Psalms 83:18

"But there is one God, God Jesus and the Father"
This is 3 gods, not 1. And 4 if you add in Satan, god of this world as Christians say.
Yes, a person can be a father, brother, uncle, teacher, etc. all at the same time. But NONE of those aspects separates itself, gets out of the body, walks around for 30 years, is killed, goes to the underworld, rises back up, and returns to sit BESIDE the rest of itself. If anyone thinks this has happened to them, they should see a psychiatrist for some heavyduty medications.
All of this comes from ancient pagan religions, not Judaism.
Dividing God up like a pie is Idolatry. God is ONE, not 3-in-1 with a man inserted in there, or turning God into a man. God is NOT a man, as it says in the Torah several times.
One God. That's all. No "father son holy spirit". Just God. One.

Think yourself!
Why should there only be one God?
The concept of one God is a creation of the church, not of God.
The religious people that gathered and censored religious documents some hundreds of years ago basically wanted to strengthen the church.
That is a reason why today there are only four Gospels in the Bible, whereas every scholar knows that there is at least a dozen of Gospels.
The church is only an institution constituted by the shortcomings and failures of the very people who constitute the church.
God though, he or she or they are completely independent from the church.

No It is One God with 3 aspects which is why He is known as a Triune God , Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Think of a tree , God is the trunk , Jesus is the branches, and the Holy Spirit is the Life that flows through the tree. On each branch is a bud, which indicates us. Some will grow and mature beautifully, some will half grow and will never get to be the sweet fruit, some fall off and die in the ground.

1. Many more individuals are born than can possibly survive, thus there is competition for limited resources
2. Within this vast number there is variation, and because of this variation some of these individuals will have an advantage--however slight--over others
3. The ones who have the advantages are more competitive and thus they are more likely to obtain the limited resources
4. The ones who are succeeding in securing the limited resources are more likely to reproduce and thus pass onto their offspring the more competitive traits

first of all, if there's one god, what is this jesus and the father stuff. sounds like 2 or 3 to me.
secondly, god often has a plural name, referring to his qualities, not anything about there being more than 1.

The one true God is an eternal family of self-giving life and love between The Father and the Son, their love is so real that it begets another person, the Holy Spirit.
Our earthly families are created in the image and likeness of the true family: The Holy Trinity. In marriage, the hidden mystery of the Triune God is revealed, when a man and women give their life and love to eachother and it becomes so real that 9 months later they have a child. God bless.

When using the terms "we" or "our", most Christian religions take this to mean that God is speaking of and to Jesus...his son who now lives and reigns with God in heaven. According to scriptural passages, it appears that Jesus was present "before" the earth was created...perhaps not in his earthly form...but as a separate part of God...i.e......in "our" image.

Jesus is NOT God. He is one of God's children like we all are, he was a prophet. There is only one God. Hope this helps you out.
