Who in their right mind would mark me down for this reply but a religious zealot?
Qustion was: Why should priests be allowed to practice molesting children while in seminary?
It would mean that they either: A) Get really good at it so they can do it full time when they attain priesthood, or B) They'll get their fulfill and be tired of it by the time they attain priesthood. Should we take the chance?
My Answer was:
some of them don't just practice...they are experts.
It's a darn shame...and shame on those that cover it up in higher levels of the churches. This is not only against what they believe and teach others, but against the spirit of man, in so much as our children are our future...what we do to them today they take with them for the rest of their lives. For them it's a life sentence.

Well,I don't know about others,but I speak for myself and you have gave such simplistic toe the party type answers that yes I have gave you a thumbs down at times. You know we have that right here and if it disturbs you I am sorry. I don't have multiple accounts and probably most that thumb you down don't as well. When you make a valid point on an issue I will give you a thumbs up.

Let's remember, child molesters are in every walk of life and you know you've heard of them; teachers, policemen, mom,dad, aunts, uncles, neighbors, etc.....and they should all be punished to the extent of the law. We probably have some right on here that are bashing the very thing they themselves do. I think castration would be a mild sentence compared to what they do to our children.

for the covering up part , i wouldnt be surprise , considering when they are expose by newspaper or other media , there are plenty of victims already.
truth hurts and they don't like the truth. oh come on , when galileo prove Earth revolve around the sun , they just jailed him .

because its old news, and because it really isnt the commen practice, it just got a lot of news coverage. also cause some catholics dont want to admit it happened at all. even though it did.
