I won't be shy, but I doubt you'll understand any of these. I use different names depending on her mood. Her name (to the house call vet) is Smilja, which I recently learned is "mountain flower" in Serbian. Here we go! (Depending on her mood.)
Little Toot, Monkey, ("You monkey!" when she's being silly.) Soft Paws, Pretty kitty, Princess, Invisible Kitty, (under the covers), Kooky, Wacko (evening crazies), Snuggle Bug, Punkin', Sumpin', Furry Purry, Ladybug, Stinker, Rascal, oh shoot, I could go on. & she knows them ALL. I would NEVER call her a fat cat, even if she were. I forgot Slinky, & probably more...cute question!

I see I'm not the only one that did this, that's nice to know. LOL. I have a siamese mix. His name is Baloo (after his blue eyes) and sometimes I call him baloo lee as in a middle name also. He's still a kitten so it's like a "pet name" or fun addition. The other cat I have is CC . She's a torti shell. We all know they have alot of character. Sometimes I call her CC and other times Cee Czar..as in she is acting like a queen. LOL..as in a 'ruler' like Julius Ceasar..but that isn't too often.

Many of our cats have multiple names, like each of us have our own term of endearment for them in addition to their "regular name." Some of the names are derivative, and some are completely different. For example, one of our 10 yr old tiger cat's original name is Nike, like the tennis shoe. My husand expanded that into "LaFemme Nikita Poofy-Tail".(partly because has actually does have a poofy tail and partially because we accidentally walked in on what was obviously a private moment between he and his nuetered gentleman friend:). I just call him Poof as he is dear and sensitive and lovely. Another sweetie we adopted last year has two names. Our daughter calls him "Dini", short for Houdini, because he is so dark black he is barley noticable in the dim light until he is right in front of you with his wide-open golden eyes. He may show up on the other side of the room in a matter of seconds. It's like his cloaking device. I call him Jack. (ie Blackjack) There are a few others, our grey Alfie is called Bubba or Buddy, Our nervous red tabby Ogie was also call "Tweak",our half-bob-tail, "Bob, my husband calls "BirdDog" because he actually takes the stance of a bird dog when something captured his attention (tail straight, nose pointing, paw up and pointing inward).. In summary all three of us name them by a personality trait and then tailor the name to our own creative interpretations. It is kind of a tradition because many of our family members actually have multiple names as well, including myself, depending on who we are conversing with. Well then, that being said, variety most trully is the spice of life :)

my cat's name is Eclipse
however we all (friends and family) seem to have forgotten the name on his collar and only refer to him as "Eclipse" while speaking with the vet, (his name is Eclipse on his collar and on his vet records)
we all call him "Clipsie" instead...and everyone who has a special bond with him has a special name for him besides "Clipsie"
He's solid black so sometimes my ex would call him a "Panther" ; my brothers all like to refer to him as a "Ninja" when they visit because he gets hyper and does back flips off walls trying to attack his toys ; my landlord calls him "Simba" because he's the only cat treated like a king in the entire apartment complex ; and my landlord's wife refers to him as a "Demon" because he hisses at her (only because she tried to spank him! She hasn't been welcomed over for dinner since then)
I call him "Momma's Big Boy" because he is my little man
he is well within the normal range of what he should weigh, but I'm always taking him out for walks and exercising him so he has alot of muscle for a cat and he's kinda beefy (according to my vet)
he is trained to come to me when I say "come to momma, clipsie" so it's pretty cute
