Give the mess that that religions are in upto and beyond 9/11, especially Muslim, Christian and Jew differences, how close is man to all out holy war?

War of one kind or another over religious beliefs has been with us since the beginning of all faiths. 9/11 was not the beginning. A great many people have been killed over the centuries because of the differences between their's and someone else's beliefs. History is full of religious wars. It is a fact of life....Today's differences are much more apparent because of our communications network. Between TV, radio, the net, newspapers, text messaging etc., only a tiny percentage of human beings do not have access to what is happening all over the world at any given time. As the Bible says, there will be wars and rumors of wars....and that was written 2000 years ago.
Many people believe that eventually, an "all out" religious war will occur between those who love God and those who do not but I don't have a clue if we are in the beginnings of that process or if we are simply doing what we have always done. Time will tell.

Not vary close. You have a few thousand Muslim extremists causing alot of trouble and that is about it. Iran does some saber rattling but they are not dumb. They understand there chance of winning in a real war. Still they want to be a leader of the Muslim cause. To do that they have made America out to be an evil force in the world. By pointing fingers at us they hope no one notices what they are doing in Lebanon and Iraq and Pakistan and Afghanistan.
