Been up too long without sleep or very little sleep. Trying to work a full time job and take care of the baby by herself at night without any help so she could get some rest.
You can only go so long without sleep before it starts getting to you. It makes no difference how good of shape you are in. You can not go long periods of time withoug getting enough sleep.
Over a period of time it wears you do mentally and physically.
But it rotten it happened to her, and more rotten her baby died. . She is going to need a lot of help and prayers to get through this.
The best thing any one can do right now is give her all the help she needs because she is going to be accusing herself enough.

Exhaustion or stress would probably have played a big part. Personal problems, work problems, demands, expectations and all the rest plus being a mother can prove stressful beyond coping levels, especially if an acute, additional stress is instroduced. I think all mothers know a little what it is like to be in a dazy, dreamy state from tiredness and stress. Everyone handles it differently. What a horrible thing to happen, though.

I think in most cases a small change in the daily routine seems to throw the parent off. I imagine most parents of small kids are sleep deprived, too.
Personal anecdote: When I was in kindergarten, my father drove me and a neighbor to school every day. One day, the other kid was sick and stayed home. My father was used to having two kids chattering together. It was silent so, instead of stopping at the school, he got on the highway to go to work. He didn't realize his mistake until I asked, "Where are we going?"

I guess the lady has a serious mental problem.
I mean, she parked at the daycare, supposedly, to bring her child in but forgot about the main purpose why she went there. This is definitely not normal.

I don't know how parents can forget about their children. I don't think they intentionally forget them. It so sad that it happens. I just pray that we learn from others mistakes and be more careful with our own.

I guess the same way their colony just dissappeared in the colonial age, people seem to be very forgetful around there.
Honestly, that's the most retarded thing I'vee ever heard and she should serve life.

That was my biggest fear as a new parent. No, I never forgot him. He is my world. Horribly sad. It's such an adjustment. I feel bad for everybody. Oh God. Please have mercy. She should not be allowed to have any children.
