Once you open a bottle of aspirin, do you toss the cotton, or keep replacing it each time you get some pills?

My husband and I are at a standstill on this one- help us out, and let us know what your household does :)

I put the cotton in my jar of cotton to use next time I change my nail polish color. My hus never knows what to do with it, so I end up taking care of it for him. LOL

There was a man that kept injecting drugs into tylenol bottles, that's why pill containters have a lot more on them then they use to, such as a box, then the shrink wrap, hard to open feature, and then the cotton ball. Though of course every bottle says do not use/buy if seal is broken. I've also heard the cotton ball is to keep the pills at their best "freshness" such as putting in a slice of bread within a container were cookies are held.

I was told they only use the cotton for transporting

Toss it, it is only used to keep the aspirin from becoming damaged and broken up during shipping.

toss it. the cotton is a nuisance to get in and out of the bottle anyway.

That cotton is so darn irritating to begin with. When I finally get it out, I throw it to the floor and stomp on it, then tare it into itty bitty pieces, then, wild-eyed and laughing wickedly, throw each itty bitty piece into the trash as a final blow!!

So, no I don't replace it.

toss it cause why would you take the time to keep putting it in the bottle? when you can just throw it away...

If you don't live in a humid climate, throw the cotton away.

I toss it. It makes it faster and easier to get one out when you have a headache and you want it now.
