"I got offered a job that I really want." That sums it up!

I consider myself very easy to get along with and very friendly. However, in nearly 15 years work experience, I can honestly say I've never had a job without "personnel" problems! You're not always going to love everyone you work with.

The difference is your attitude. It is completely up to you to determine your work environment. Just go into it with the most positive outlook possible. But to do this, you have to leave your judgments at the door. You've never worked under this supervisor right? Then you really don't know how you'll get along.

Ask yourself this question. If the job offer came to you without knowing who the supervisor was, would you accept or decline?

Best of luck!!!

You really need to evaluate whether the job is worth putting up with a difficult boss or not. I've had some difficult bosses that I've been able to deal with, but others have driven me to the verge of a nervous breakdown. If you think you'll be able to deal with her, and this job is a step towards a career goal, it could be worth it. However, if it's just a cool job that you'd like, it probably won't be worth the stress, and you should hold out for another, possibly better position

i think it's better if you pass
because you can find that job some where else or some day
but if you decide to take the job and deal with the woman
sooner or later you get tired of dealing with her and leave the job
and it's not good for your record so just go look for that job in some where else
besides you have to be happy every day too

You can walk or you can take it and develop skills that will enable you to deal with it. Whenever, I or any of my colleagues have to deal with someone that is very difficult, they usually rely on their professionalism. In other words, you don't make small talk, get to the point, ask direct questions regarding the job this person wants you to do, and execute it. You'll find that in any company you work in, there will always be people or persons that you have to interact with that you don't necessarily find easy to work with.

For example, I worked in a large hospital and I had to send a fax for my doctor, but the only fax machine close to us was in Medical Administration. The woman in charge of that office was a very stern and severe person as she worked for the Head Administrator of the hospital, and was known to be curt. "Could I use your fax machine to send this document, and could you show me how to use the machine as you're more knowledgeable with it than me?" I never had any problems with her afterwards, but my colleague could never get pass her.

This is also part of learning especially if you want to advance.

I would definitely pass. I am currently going through a difficult situation and it just has gotten worse and depressing. Even when you think you'll get over it or you might think it will not affect you, it turns out to be way worse. Keep looking and when you least expect it something better will show up. For sure!
