i was LDS. i do not believe any church should tell a person what they can/ can't eat, drink, wear, think, do / say or believe. That is why I left The Church. I came to the church, becaue my childhood was very unhealthy, and dysfunctional, and i saw the church as a stabilizing component in my life. But when the bishop told me that I can't have my morning cup of coffee, I told them to take a hike. The missionaries do not come to our door anymore, because I have asked them not to. Also, my husband and I have an open marriage. They do not approve of that.
