Stu: Sorry, dude. The empirical evidence for God won't cause you to believe in God unless you meet Him in your heart first. Once you do, you'll see His presence all around you.

Ed: Cool.

Yes you are right, one can't claim himself to be a believer until he has understood the magnanimity and moleculity of God. God is bigger than the biggest and smaller than the smallest. He is farther than the farthest and nearer than the nearest. These statements are not riddles created by some calling themselves 'theists'.

But we need to understand these, by following a real and living saint.

The Stu should say in all humbleness, " I don't know, do you?"

The claimant (theist) ought to cutting-edge data that a god exists. this is impossible to coach a unfavourable. If pressed, propose evolution and different organic phenomenon that make the choose or probability that a god exists very small. this must be somewhat bit cake in the event that they join a mainstream non secular perception, because of the fact all religions have advent memories that have considering the fact that been contradicted via outcomes from the medical approach.

Stu can say whatever he likes, but he can not PROVE the existence of God. If that were possible, there would be no atheists or agnostics.

Stu should say, " I don't need to prove god to you. I am not asking you to believe as I do."

First, Stu needs to pray for Ed. Pray for God to open his heart and mind. Stu should refer Him to the bible and how it has come alive for him. He should talk about his own experiences and how God changed him. That is the biggest testimony. Of course, faith is huge. We won't know all of the answers here on earth but we have to trust that God knows what He is doing.

I say, Look at beuity of world all around you! It come not from nothing! It come from God! That why tjhere is beuity in world!

That, or he should say "Prove there isn't!" like a petulant child.

Today I flew around my house blowing bubbles from various crevices. Do you belive me? No? Why? I have proof! I was THERE!

Convincing, eh?

*Grins at Writer'sblock73* Hey there, handsome. Yeah, I guess the crevice bubbles kind of took away from the flying bit. Hmmm. I shall be less imaginative next time. Looking at some of these answers, I think I'm learning how!

I can't prove a thought, or a feeling, or even a memory. Science can detect some small part of these things, but they can't detect all of it...just as I can't prove a thought exists, or a memory, I can't prove God exists. Faith fills the gap left where science ends.

It depends on how stupid Stu is. If he's very stupid:

"What about the Bible? That's proof! How do you think the world was made if not by God? And once I had a dream and I saw angels!"

If he's quite stupid:

"It's not a matter of proof. It comes down to faith."

The Banana is the perfect example of Intelligent Design. Obviously it was sweet yellow and seedless for it's whole creation! Don't listen to those "scientists" or "banana farmers" who say that the banana we enjoy today is the end result of long years of selective breeding that turned a small bitter fruit into a big tasty one, that's just people trying to trick you into believing in that devilution that the homo armies are trying to teach our children in schools. Now hold my Bible while I scold this unwed mother for her sinfullness.
