I'd like to get a GA liscence, to get my car registered. But i dont know if they check for tickets and such.

as long as they haven't issued a bench warrant for the ticket you are fine, but if the court date for the ticket has came and went there is for sure a bench warrant and it will come up on the computer in any state..

It depends on whether your old state has reciprocity with GA, and whether they in fact share information. Assuming you don't mean, "Can I get a new speeding ticket?"

Why don't you clear up the ticket? It might come back to haunt you at the most crucial moment, not only in GA and not only applying for a license.

It depends on if the states have an agreement to trade information about tickets. If they do you will have to pay the ticket before you will be able to get a license in another state.

When my sister moved to Georgia and tried to get insurance on her car, she was denied because she hadn't taken care of a ticket in Alabama. ... So I guess you'll just have to go down there and find out what happens.

just pay it by mail,pay the clerk ,stay out of jail!!!!
